WHO WE ARE

Sports4Wellness has been serving its community since March of 2025. Created and started by the 4 of us, Sports4Wellness provides inclusive activities for children and seniors to enjoy as well as be inspired by to maintain and improve their health through sports. Our leadership team is here to support young children and senior citizens by promoting wellness through sports and activites.

Leadership Team Bio

Tanish Balamurugan is a junior at Milpitas High School. In table tennis, he is on the U19 USA National Team, was the Under 15 California State Champion ,and has won various medals at the US Open including a gold in the U2200 rating event. He has also done coaching for kids at summer camps at India Community Center (ICC), getting others into the sport and teaching them how to play.  He wants to spread his passion for sports to others in his community.

Vishal Sivakumar is a sophomore at Saint Francis High School. He is a 2x US National Team Member and has won 10 medals at the US Open and US Nationals for table tennis. He has volunteered and helped run many tournaments at ICC and Rising Stars World TTA as well as coach students to help them learn the sport at camps. He has earned a gold medal Presidential award for completing 100 hours of service. He loves sports and wants to spread the benefits to promote wellness.

Sai Anish Sivakumar is a junior at Milpitas High School. He has been playing table tennis for several years and has accumulated several medals from the US Open and National Championships. He has volunteered as a coach at ICC for 150+ hours teaching children the fundamentals of table tennis and received the Gold Presidential Volunteer Service Award. Sai Anish is the student representative for the Senior Advisory Committee for the City of Milpitas and has organized events promoting the well-being of seniors.

Shrirang Krishnaprasad is an 9th grader at St. Francis High School. He has been playing table tennis for 4 years, where he has won several medals in tournaments across the country. He has started a table tennis club in his school, which hosts nearly 30 people every week. He hopes to spread the joy of sports throughout the senior community, as well as benefitting those around him.
